SGTBIMIT organized a Guest Lecture on "Behavioral Changes, Mental and Emotional Health" by Mr. Utkarsh Narang, Founder, IgnitedNeurons. The session was highly motivating and engaging. Mr. Utkarsh interacted with all the students and the students opened up regarding the emotional challenges they are facing. The session was initiated by Prof. (Dr.) Navneet Kaur, Director, SGTBIMIT with motivating stories of entrepreneurs and then she welcomed the Guest Speaker. The event was coordinated by the students under Dr. Harshita Tuli, Head, R&D Cell.

SGTBIM&IT, a SIKH Institution, was founded by the DSGMC, with the primary objective of providing University Education in a nice atmosphere for deserving students irrespective of caste and creed. It started functioning in 2009 with just 120 students on the rolls in two undergraduate courses of BCA & BBA. SGTBIM&IT, though affiliated to GGSIPU.
